About Bay Town Health Group
Dr. Haider Afzal opened Baytown Family Clinic in 2010 after eight years practicing family medicine in the Baytown area. In 2012, we added a dedicated pediatrics wing. In 2014, we opened East Side Family Clinic in Houston to serve patients in Channelview and East Houston.
Today, our practice includes three physicians and three mid-level practitioners (nurse practitioners and physician assistants). We see patients for sick visits, chronic disease management, and preventive care at both locations.
In-House Services at All Locations: Laboratory (blood draws, urinalysis, rapid strep/flu tests), diagnostic ultrasound, and EKG.
Baytown Location Only: Muscle therapy, rehabilitation, and joint injections.

Dr. Haider Afzal, MD
Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Afzal has practiced family medicine in Baytown since 2002. He earned his medical degree from Dow University and completed residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center.

Internal Medicine and Nephrology Specialist
Dr. Mallick completed medical school at Dow Medical College, Pakistan, and trained in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
He treats patients with kidney disease, hypertension, and complex internal medicine conditions.
